Fire Season.
It started on Monday and I was
naive to think we could slowly adjust to the crazy fire season schedule. Steve was in training this week just during the day, 9-5 (normal hours) so that wasn't too bad of an adjustment for me.
But today I got
the call. The "Hi, I am leaving on a strike team as we speak" call. So here I am again, the
fire season widow, just a bit earlier that expected.
Really I am glad for Steve and it is good that he gets to go, I just miss him. Every year it is an adjustment.
Let the fun begin!

This is where you sing:
We're in the money, we're in the money;
We've got a lot of what it takes to get along!
We're in the money, that sky is sunny,
Old Man Depression you are through, you done us wrong.
We never see a headline about breadlines today.
And when we see the landlord we can look that guy right in the eye
We're in the money, come on, my honey,
Let's lend it, spend it, send it rolling along!
Oh, yes we're in the money, you bet we're in the money,
We've got a lot of what it takes to get along!
